Why does dry vapor sanitation cost more than a carpet cleaner's add-on?

A carpet cleaner's mattress add-on is typically done with the same hot-water extraction equipment used on the floors, as one item on a carpet job. A dedicated mattress sanitation visit is built around the mattress alone: an inspection first, low-moisture dry vapor worked into the seams and tufts, then HEPA vacuuming, UV-C light treatment and a moisture check before we leave. That takes more time and more equipment per bed.

General market context. Methods vary by provider, so ask any company what equipment it uses and how much water goes in.
