Compare your options in OmahaMattress cleaning specialist or carpet cleaner in Omaha?
If the job is a mattress, hire a mattress specialist; if it is wall-to-wall carpet or rugs, hire a carpet cleaner. A mattress add-on on a carpet job is typically done with the same hot-water extraction equipment used on the floors. A dedicated mattress visit is built around the bed: inspection, low-moisture dry vapor steam on seams and tufts, HEPA vacuuming, UV-C light treatment and two checks. Omaha Mattress Cleaning is mattress-only, operated by Sleep Sanitation, at $249 for the first mattress. Call or text (402) 512-5658.

What does each trade actually do?
Carpet cleaners do good work on carpet, rugs and upholstery, and their equipment is built for floors. When a mattress is added to a carpet job, it is typically cleaned with that same hot-water extraction setup.
A mattress specialist starts from the bed. We identify the materials, then work low-moisture dry vapor steam into the seams, tufts, ridges and edges, where dust and shed skin flakes collect. HEPA vacuuming and UV-C light treatment follow on every visit, and we finish with a moisture check. Our UV-C vacuum also has a built-in bed mite sensor.
When is a carpet cleaner the better hire?
When the job is floors. If you need wall-to-wall carpet, area rugs or a sofa cleaned, call a carpet or upholstery company. We don’t do those, and we would rather say so than stretch our equipment past the bed.
What should you ask before you book anyone?
- Is the mattress its own appointment, or an add-on to the floors?
- What equipment touches the mattress, and how much water goes in?
- Do you treat the seams, tufts and edges?
- What is included in the price, and is urine or pet odor extra?
- How do you confirm the mattress is dry to the touch before the bed is made?
Which Omaha homes book a specialist?
Households with several beds (a king, a queen and two kids’ beds is $746 in one visit), hosts between guests on our Airbnb hosts hub, families after west Omaha new-construction dust, and anyone with a pet or urine accident. The method side is in dry vapor steam vs wet extraction. Every rate is on Omaha pricing.
What does it cost in Omaha?
The first mattress is $249, any size, with normal stains, pet odor and ordinary urine accidents included. Each additional full, queen or king in the same visit is $199, each additional kids' bed (twin or full) is $149, and underside treatment is +$50–$75 per mattress. Severe or biohazard cases carry a surcharge we quote before starting.
Every visit includes UV-C light treatment, HEPA vacuuming and two checks: a moisture check after service and the built-in bed mite sensor on our UV-C vacuum. The 72-hour bedroom CO₂ test is a separate optional service, priced by quote, and it isn't a medical test. See Omaha pricing for every rate.
Questions Omaha readers ask
Can a carpet cleaner clean my mattress?
Many offer it as an add-on. Ask what equipment they use on the bed and how much water goes in. If it is the same hot-water extraction used on carpet, check your mattress warranty first, because wet extraction can void some warranties.
Why does a mattress specialist cost more than a carpet add-on?
The visit is built around the mattress: an inspection, dry vapor worked into the seams and tufts, HEPA vacuuming, UV-C light treatment and two checks. That takes more time and more equipment per bed than one add-on item on a floor job.
Do you also clean carpets or couches?
No. Omaha Mattress Cleaning is mattress-only. For carpet, rugs or upholstery, hire a carpet or upholstery cleaner.
I'm having my carpets cleaned too. Which should come first?
Have the floors done first and let them dry, then book the mattress visit. Tell us when you book so we can plan around the room.
How much does a mattress specialist cost in Omaha?
$249 for the first mattress, any size. Each additional full, queen or king in the same visit is $199, each additional kids' bed is $149, and underside treatment adds $50–$75 per mattress.
Do you name or rate other Omaha companies?
No. We publish our own method and prices, and give you the questions to ask any provider.
